Guild Introduction

This is a brief list of what we expect from our members, if you have any questions about any of the following, please contact us.

You must be able to:
-Pay attention and focus for the duration of our raids.
-Avoid avoidable damage.
-Watch videos and read strats posted on our forums.
-Limit afks to opportune times.
-Take constructive and respectful criticism about your performance.
-Come prepared for every raid with potions, flasks, elixirs and food.
-Live a “drama” free wow-life.
-Use guild required mods such as DBM and Omen.
-Use ventrilo. (Listening is required, a mic is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.)
-Use website features including forums and raid calendar. Raid sign ups are REQUIRED for raid invites.

**Raid invites are not guaranteed. Raid leaders, for various reasons, may require you to vacate a raid spot for another guild member. You will need to compete for your raid spot. If you consistently demonstrate poor performance or attendance, you will be benched for raiders who give more effort than you.

**CALENDAR: We use a raid sign-up calendar on our website to organize raids. YOU MUST SIGN UP FOR EVERY RAID! If you cannot attend a raid for any reason, you need to cancel your sign up so we know that you won't be available. If you do not use the calendar, you will probably not get raid invites. The occasional "oops I forgot" is alright. However, consistent lack of signing up for raids tells us you're unwilling or unable to perform an extremely simple task, and we may look to replace your spot on the roster.

**We run a Zero-Sum DKP system to fairly and evenly distribute loot based on attendance. We have a waitlist for people online but not in the raid. While on the waitlist, you will earn the same amount of DKP as if you were in the raid, provided that you remain available to sub in should we need a replacement.

**If we feel that your raiding attendance has dropped significantly we may remove you from your raiding position and seek to actively fill it. (generally less than 50% in any 1 month period without communication to the officers of extenuating circumstances).

**PROBATION--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Probation is a guild rank for players who fail to meet the raid performance and attendance standards Evolution requires of its raiders. The following things will get you on probation:

1.) Not using the calendar for sign-ups. Everyone needs to take a few minutes over the weekend and sign up for the entire week's raid. If something comes up and you have to cancel, that's fine. But, it takes a good bit of work to set up 25 mans four nights a week, and it's even more difficult when 1.) people don't use the calendar, and 2.) people demonstrate an inconsistent attendance record. If you know ahead of time that you can't make it one night that week, that's fine, let us know so we can plan accordingly.

2.) Anyone, who consistently exhibits "fail" in our raids. i.e. gravity bombing the raid, eyebeams, ice shards, getting flash frozen, lightning charged, nature bombed, run into mines, die to rocket strikes, die to laser barrages, shadowcrashed, get melee'd by crushers, hit by death rays, go insane on Yogg, don't use DPS potions on every boss kill if you're a DPS, etc.

3.) Consistently poor attendance. You were invited to Evolution to raid in progression. If you choose to show up only when we're farming the easy stuff, then we clearly cannot rely upon you and you are not contributing to the guild. That said, we understand that sometimes events arise that necessitate missing raids. However, going back to point 1.), use the calendar to let us know this.

The consequences of being put on Probation are as follows:

1.) You will not earn dkp.

2.) You will not be eligible for loot.

Probation will be, at a minimum, one raid week long (Mon-Tues-Wed-Thurs). Whether it lasts longer then that is entirely up to you. If you are placed on probation, you are solely responsible for getting yourself off of it. The way this is done is as follows: Correct the issue that got you on probation in the first place while having perfect attendance for one week. If you fail to get yourself promoted out of Probation due to a lack of attendance or an abundance of continuing failure in raids, and you remain on Probation for an extended period of time, then you will probably be kicked from the guild.
**PROBATION--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

**Guild invitation process:
If we feel we might be able to offer you a raiding spot in Evolution, we will schedule a trial run. If it goes well, we will invite you to the guild for a 2-3 week trial period. Most applicants that make it to this stage are taken, although we do not guarantee it. At the end of the trial period, the officers will decide whether or not to accept you into the guild as a full member. During this trial period you will receive last priority on loot, although you will still accumulate DKP to spend freely once you are admitted as a full member.

**You must be able to afford your own raid expenses such as repairs and consumables. With all the new dailies out there, this should not be a problem for anyone. "I don't have time" or "I don't have enough gold" are pathetic excuses for not being prepared for raids. This is a raiding guild. You are expected to come to all raids prepared. In your response to the last question of this application, please copy/paste this: "Sacdaddy is a scrub."

**Please remember to log out in the applicable gear for the role you are applying for, as we will be checking your armory page.

Please provide a raid combat log parse so we can get a sense of how you perform in raids. WWS, WMO, or WoL reports are all acceptable. This is not required but will GREATLY help your application. If you do not have any logs, download a combat log parser and pug something, anything it doesn't matter, 10 man, 25 man, or just attack a training dummy for 5 minutes and parse the combat data. Anything is better than nothing! If you cannot provide a parse, please describe your dps rotations, or how you heal, or how you tank.
