Guild Introduction

Hello, and welcome to our website,and thank you for taking the time to fill out this application!

We feel it is our duty to inform potential applicants of both what we expect from them, and what some people find objectionable that they should expect from us.

This is a brief list of what we expect from our members, if you have any questions about any of the following, please contact us.

You must be able to:
Pay attention for the duration of the raids.
Limit afks to 5 mins tops and only once or twice per raid max. (honor code but still, if this is going to be an issue for you, please think through putting in the application)
Take constructive and respectful criticism about your performance.
Come prepared for every raid with potions, flasks, elixirs and food.
Use a very stable connection and a quality computer.
Live a “drama” free wow-life.
Use guild required mods.
Use ventrilo. (Listening is required, a mic is a strong plus.)
Use website features including forums and raid calendar.
Use basic macros for your class.

What you should expect from us that we don't want to take you off guard:
Raid invites are not guaranteed. Raid leaders, for various reasons, may require you to vacate a raid spot for another guild member.

If we feel that your raiding attendance has dropped significantly we may remove you from your raiding position and seek to actively fill it. (generally less than 50% in any 1 month period without communication to the officers of extenuating circumstances).

While we encourage our members to help one another outside of raiding, we do not believe anyone HAS to. Self-sufficiency FTW.

We run a DKP system to more evenly/fairly distribute loot, it may not be perfect, but it's better than a random roll. If you are interested we can provide you with a full copy of the DKP rules.

Invitation process:
If we feel we might be able to offer you a raiding spot in evolution, we will schedule a trial run. If it goes well, we will invite you to the guild on a 3 week trial period. Most applicants that make it to this stage are taken, although we do not guarantee it. At the end of the trial period all officers that feel they have had sufficient exposure to ensure a knowledgeable decision will cast a vote whether or not to admit you. During this trial period you will not be eligible to take loot from current members (although you will still accumulate dkp to spend freely once you are admitted as a full member).

(Please be aware we look you up in the armory, so try to logout in your main spec gear until you receive a response to your application)
